DRIED CHRISTMAS ORANGES




I decided to try making dried oranges this year for Christmas to decorate with. I researched several different recipes before landing on this one. I sliced two oranged thinly and set my oven to 350f, convection. I baked them for 4 hours on a cooling rack to allow the air to reach both sides. I also flipped them every 30 minutes to keep them from sticking.

Even after 4 hours, I probably could have baked them even longer, they were still slightly tacky when I removed them. I did allow them to cool overnight on the same rack to let them dry more.

They were so cute when they were done, and even cuter on the presents! I think I'll definitely be doing this again next year!
